Eggs, cheese, veggies, 1/4 cup berries, coffee.
Went to the Farmer’s Market today with my sister. Always a lot of fun, and very crowded! Picked up some essentials: sugar free bacon and raw cheese. And coffee! Later, I went on a hike.
Lunch: Baked chicken breast; 1/4 cup cannellini beans; lettuce; sauerkraut; tomatoes; onions; extra virgin olive oil; mustard. I baked extra chicken to use as leftovers for lunches or dinners. Whenever I make a protein (chicken, fish, steak) I always make extra to use in a later meal. Easy meal prep!
Breakfast this morning: two eggs cooked in extra virgin olive oil with spinach, onions, one clove garlic, cheese; 1/4 cup strawberries; coffee with half and half, cinnamon, and sugar free sweetener. Activity: hike and yoga.
When people ask me how I lost the weight, my quick answer is: —Portion control —Eating whole, unprocessed foods —Eating a variety of foods And, my sister points out, being active (throughout my weight loss I primarily did, and still do, a combination of yoga and hiking/walking).
